Human Fatherhood : over hyped concept

What's your typical father:
Someone who complements the mother.
Like your typical soap opera...father is the person who help mother at home and share burden of looking after the kids etc etc..

Well is that what really happens in the majority of families in the world....
I guess not !

The picture of ideal father or typical father we have comes from the media or those who use the power of freedom speech

What would you guess is the typical amount of time a father spends with his kids across the world...
1 hour or less per day ...more than 1 hour per day ...a few hours per day. if you were to believe the typical definition in books or movies etc...then the latter is true ...but i am more than willing to believe that its much less than 1 hour per day....

Many kids don't even know their fathers....
Most kids see their father briefly...when they are being fed in the house.
A lot of kids are traumatized by their father...


So do we need fathers...its becoming less and less important in humans...its been made important by the male dominated society but males are genetically not important...the Y chromosome is degenerating.

Imagine if say women could exchange chromosomes to make kids...no question of gender ...but yet the advantage of genetic variation...growing of kids might be less traumatic.
Genetic technology....or may be naturally we'll evolve in an all woman society...


My contention: Human fathers are disappearing and for the good of humankind !

I know there are many good fathers but its a minority...and nature tend to wipe out what is obsolete over time....just for the survival of life.
