Free money

There is something that is totally baffling. The concept of free stuff. People tend to do (or in fact not do) things and expect that it can be sustained.

Why did we expect to pollute the planet at no cost ?
Or why do government workers do no work and expect its a "working" system.

We inherently believe there is magic happening and will save us from our misdeeds...is that what it is ?

Nothing is sustainable in the big picture ...change is ongoing.

But on a smaller scale there is worse...why should we expect to enjoy a free lunch ?
